Keema Matar (minced meat and peas)

4-6 servings

arrow 2 tablespoon of coconut oil
arrow 1/2 onion finely sliced
arrow 2 cloves crushed garlic
arrow 1/2 tsp finely grated fresh ginger
arrow 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
arrow 1/2 tsp chili powder
arrow 1lb of ground beef
arrow 1/2 cup of yoghurt
arrow 1 cup of peas
arrow 1 tsp garam masala
arrow 1 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
arrow 2 tsp fresh cilantro

Directions:

Heat coconut oil and fry onion till soft medium high heat. Add garlic and ginger fry till onion is golden brown. Add turmeric, chili powder, and stir for a few seconds.
Add meat. Fry turning meat frequently break up any lumps and cook till brown. Stir in yoghurt and peas lower heat and cook for fifteen minutes..
Add garam masala and salt, cook till peas are tender.( 20 minutes Approx). Add cilantro before serving
